Ash Dennis Link is a dedicated University of British Columbia student and student leader currently pursuing their studies in the Faculty of Education while actively contributing to campus governance through the Alma Mater Society (AMS) of UBC Vancouver. As an appointed representative on the AMS Student Council, EPA and a councillor on the Building Operations Committee, Ash plays a collaborative role in shaping student life, advocating for equitable access, and ensuring that student voices are represented in decisions about campus facilities, services, and community priorities. With a focus on advocacy, policy engagement, and inclusive representation, Ash is committed to creating a campus environment where all students feel supported, heard, and empowered to contribute to a positive university experience.
More Info Ash Dennis is a dedicated visual artist, 3D modeler, and professional builder whose creative practice bridges digital and physical making with community‑driven impact. She combines her artistic training with technical skill to produce immersive visual work, while also contributing meaningfully to student life and community engagement at the University of British Columbia. As an active leader in the Education Students’ Association (ESA), Ash has played a central role in advocating for Bachelor of Education students, strengthening governance, accessibility, and representation in alignment with Alma Mater Society policies and values. She has also contributed her time and expertise to The Pride Collective at UBC, supporting safe, inclusive spaces and initiatives for 2SLGBTQIA+ students and allies on campus. Beyond campus governance and equity work, Ash has been involved with Galint Gaming events, including the Battle of BC series, one of Western Canada’s largest competitive gaming festivals that celebrates competition, culture, and community in esports and fighting games. Her passion for building experiences — whether through art, community leadership, or event production — reflects a commitment to creativity, inclusion, and sustained impact as both a student leader and emerging professional..
